**Abstract** At the Toray Research Center, we have developed imaging techniques for industrial material analysis using spectroscopic analysis, morphological observation, and mass spectrometry. In response to the increasing demand for imaging techniques in the life sciences sector in recent years, we are working to expand our applications to the analysis of biological samples. This time, we will introduce examples of analysis focusing on mass spectrometry (MS) imaging.
